East La is such a great spot for food and drinks, the service and atmosphere is 10/10. Their frozen margaritas are amazing !!! My bartender Leticia was amazing , was so quick and attentive. I will definitely be coming back for sure and will be recommending to others.

East La is a true Hoboken classic! Family-owned and operated for over 40 years, this spot serves up delicious Mexican food in fun, inviting, and vibrant setting with great service. Been coming here for over 15 years and most of their employees have been working there for as long as I can remember. A true testament to their loyalty and dedication to service and their customers. They treat their patrons like family and are friendly to any and all newcomers just the same. The frozen margaritas are a staple and the food always hits the spot. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a casual, tasty meal or a night out for some drinks and good vibes. Anyone who knows anything about Hoboken, knows that East LA is the place to be.

East LA is always one of my go to spots for a great meal and a fun night out...Hands down the BEST chips and salsa in Hoboken! (Trust me, you will not be able to stop eating those chips!!) The drinks are FAB (try the frozen sangria margarita !), and the service is fantastic - always super friendly and attentive. East LA is a gem that you will find yourself going back to again and again!!

Every time I go to East LA I know I will have a great time. The food is delicious, the drinks are strong and the staff is fantastic.So many of them have worked there a very long time, which tells you a lot about an establishment. I always look forward to the chips and salsa when I sit down- they are my fave! And they refill them so generously. I never feel rushed and I love sitting outside with friends after a long workday.

We had a fantastic time! From coming to the restaurant without a reservation everybody was so friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved the food. We would definitely come back. The best part was the chips and salsa and also the margaritas but everything was fantastic. We are visiting from Ireland and if you are coming from locally or visiting from abroad you should definitely come here for food and drinks. The staff were so helpful. Thank you.

Been drinking here since of legal age and eating here for 16 years and I have NEVER been let down! The service and atmosphere is always a great vibe and fun and memorable experience. Their Margaritas are Explicitly Rated R and not meant for the weak lol these guys have always taken care of me like family and always delivered satisfaction and bang for my buck I wish every family could experience dining and hanging out there atleast once in your life it really is memorable!
